Veda AI is an AI-powered educational platform designed to transform learning and assessments. It leverages artificial intelligence to provide personalized evaluation, instant feedback, and adaptive learning paths for students, while helping educators scale their teaching and grading processes.
The platform is incubated at NSRCEL, IIM Bangalore. With strong focus on innovation in ed-tech, Veda AI aims to make education more efficient, engaging, and accessible for both learners and educators.

I focused on building a human-centered design strategy that aligned with the needs of students, teachers, and parents. By combining AI-driven insights with intuitive UI/UX, my goal was to simplify complex learning workflows into seamless experiences across web and mobile. I prioritized fast onboarding, clear navigation, and adaptive interfaces that save time and improve outcomes, ensuring every user could engage meaningfully.
In today’s education system, assessments remain one of the biggest challenges. Teachers spend countless hours manually grading, often leaving little room for personalized feedback. For students, this means delayed results, limited insights, and a lack of tailored learning paths.
In large classrooms and digital learning environments, the challenge grows even bigger - scaling evaluation while maintaining quality becomes nearly impossible. Traditional exams also tend to focus on memory-based outcomes rather than critical thinking and problem-solving, leaving a gap between what students learn and what truly matters.

The current education system faces multiple challenges despite rapid digital adoption. Classrooms are growing larger, making it difficult for teachers to provide personalized attention, while traditional assessments still emphasize rote memorization over critical thinking and problem-solving. Students often receive delayed feedback, which weakens the learning loop, and existing digital platforms largely focus on delivering content rather than offering adaptive evaluation.
At the same time, parents demand greater transparency into their child’s progress but are left with limited insights. These gaps highlight the urgent need for solutions like Veda AI, which leverages artificial intelligence to enable scalable, personalized, and real-time learning experiences.
We dived deep into the everyday struggles of students, teachers, and parents to uncover where traditional systems fall short and how AI can bridge those gaps
We conducted user testing with over 100 students across different grades to understand how they experience assessments, feedback, and learning gaps in digital and classroom environments.
We conducted interviews with 20+ teachers to explore challenges in grading, personalization, and providing timely insights, helping us shape solutions that truly address their needs
Through in-depth interviews with students, teachers, and parents, we uncovered critical challenges in the current education ecosystem. The findings revealed gaps in learning, assessment, and support systems, pointing towards the need for a more cohesive and personalized platform.

Before arriving at the final information architecture, I explored multiple versions to validate different flows and structures. These early iterations helped uncover usability gaps, refine navigation hierarchy, and test how each user persona (student, teacher, parent) would interact with the system. Showcasing these previous versions highlights the evolution of Veda AI’s design and the importance of iteration in building a scalable product.
Earlier versions of the IA introduced too many interaction points and complex flows, which made the experience harder to scale across different personas. These redundancies created friction and reduced overall clarity

By separating common elements like Profile, Library, and Notifications from specialized student, teacher, and parent tools, IA creates clarity and scalability. This structured approach enables intuitive navigation and future expansion without breaking the user experience.
The onboarding flow begins with user type selection—Student, Teacher, or Parent—followed by secure OTP authentication. Users then choose their preferred behavior and persona style, such as Funky, Gen Z, or Professional, to personalize the experience. Finally, they are redirected to a tailored dashboard, ensuring a smooth and customized start for every user.
The final UI of Veda AI delivers a clean, accessible, and scalable experience—helping teachers save time with smart dashboards and enabling students to learn through personalized feedback and adaptive tools.
The Generative Tools Dashboard empowers teachers with AI-driven content creation, from quizzes and assignments to lesson plans. With intuitive controls and real-time suggestions, educators can quickly generate high-quality materials tailored to their students’ needs.
